 And on the 2nd Day, God created a firmament ("Let a firmament be!") - the second command - to divide the waters above from the waters below. The firmament is named "skies". WAKE UP! WAKE UP! The alarm is going off. The 2nd Day of the 9th Wave (of the Calendar system of Dr. Carl Calleman) dawns today. This means that, for the past 18 days we ‘supposedly' had a rest in the form of the 1st Night. I myself didn't experience the past 18 days as restful (perhaps you didn't either?!) but I hope I did integrate and process certain ongoing themes. Integration is another aspect of the Night cycles of this particular calendar system. And so, we are now stepping into another, higher wave of time compression - another level of warp. The 2nd Day cycle occurs from April 14 to May 1, 2011. The Midpoint of this cycle is April 22-23.  For 9 days, beginning today, we continue the climb of the pyramid, after camping out ‘overnight' during the 1st Night. (March 27 - April 13, 2011) We will reach the Midpoint, catch our breath quickly, and continue climbing another 9 days to complete the 2nd Day. What is the 2nd Day? It is the germination of the seed which was planted in the 1st Day. That seed, the theme of the entire 9th Wave, is UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS. Unity consciousness - in a new form that hasn't been seen on earth until now - stirs to life. The blessings of this higher-level consciousness, as well as our struggles to embody it, now reach for greater expression. The struggle and the blessing will manifest in our lives personally as well as on a collective level, seeking a new level of mastery. Think about what you seeded/began/intended during the 1st Day - March 9-26, 2011. Things will begin to move forward in those areas and with those issues. Incoming Light and Information - pulsed from the Creatrix - begins to wash over us in waves. The waves will wash in very quickly, which we've already seen since the 9th Wave began on March 9. Whereas the 1st Day was associated with the god of Fire and Time, the 2nd Day has a more feminine feel to it and is associated with the goddess of Water and Birth. Receptivity and flowing with the forces around us will help us navigate this Day. Ian Lungold - a brilliant teacher who supported the theories of Dr. Calleman - summed up the 1st Day, 1st Night and 2nd Day in this way: The 1st Day (March 9 - 26, 2011) is a period of "Light" or an opportunity for the growth of consciousness. It is the inception, a planting of seed, a new beginning or impetus to change or flow in a new direction. New perceptions become available. (Seeds of consciousness planted) The 1st Night (March 27 - April 13, 2011 in the 9th Wave) is a period of "Night" or the opportunity to apply the enlightenment just received from Creation's flow. This would be the germination of the seed planted in the dark soil or the developments of new points of view. (Consciousness is activated) The 2nd Day: is another period of "Light" when duality is put on display. In nature, a seed sprouts up out of the ground and displays two leaves. The essential duality is always a new viewpoint that is overriding the "old" consciousness. (Polarity is displayed) Drawing on Ian Lungold's ideas, watch for areas of contrast or polarity - things that come up that are opposite of what you are doing, thinking, creating - holding up a mirror to inform your creative process and your evolution into higher consciousness. AND ON THE 2nd DAY... And on the 2nd Day God said, "Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. - the Bible, Old Testament, New International Version, ©2011 (NIV), Genesis 1:6-7 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. - the Bible, Old Testament, King James Version (KJV), Genesis 1:6-7  Each of the waves (or underworlds) in the Calendar system of Dr. Calleman, has 6 Days and 7 Nights - a rhythm that mirrors the structure found in the Creation story in the Bible, in the Book of Genesis. So we can look to this paradigm for clues as to what the 2nd Day may hold. The parallel in the overall Calleman system from 1st Day to 2nd Day is akin to the evolutionary shift from cellular expression to mammalian expression. And so with the 2nd Day we are symbolically emerging from the sea and walking on land. That's a big shift. The Creator divides the waters, making way for development on land, which will develop fully in the 3rd Day. The Ascending spiral of evolutionary Creation. The goddess of Water and Birth associated with the 2nd Day dovetails beautifully with the biblical symbolism. The ‘skies', the ‘firmament' or the celestial is created. This is the source of Unity Consciousness in its ultimate form. SET A GOAL There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. See who is in there with you and celebrate. - Hopi Prophecy, The Elders, Oraibi, Arizona Hopi Nation Without some goal and some effort to reach it, no one can live. ~ Fyodor Dostoyevsky  My friend Beth drew my attention to an important factor concerning how to navigate the tsunami of the 9th Wave: without a focused goal these energies will chew you up. Time is moving way too fast to be scattered now. Beth writes: "I'm feeling like I need to decide on one thing (maybe two) and focus and organize. I'm feeling pressured to focus on ‘A' goal. ... we must be able to focus on a primary goal or direction!" The 9th Wave by its very nature of time acceleration can lead to a sense of being scattered and to a lack of focus. All the more reason to narrow things down to one or two (three at the most!) projects, goals, priorities to focus on between now and October 28, 2011 (the end of the 9th Wave). It's good to set these goals for October 28, not only because it's the end of the 9th Wave in Calleman's system, but because that's about 6 months away, and it's good to make goals in that kind of time-frame. We're not sure yet if time acceleration will continue after October 28 or not, it's impossible to know now. I suspect (or is it wishful thinking?!) that time acceleration will diminish at that time. I see the 9th Wave as a kind of final push - a HUGE push - at the end of a long (16 billion years long?!) birthing process. What are your priorities? It can be helpful to think about that now as we begin to ramp up further. Let go of the shore - I'll meet you in the middle, in the flow of the river Peace!
